Mary is our wound expert. Mary has over 35 years in General Nursing, A/E nursing, Gynaecology, Surgery, and 15 years as a clinical Nurse Specialist in tissue viability. In 2003 mary worked in st vincent’s hospital melbourne australia specialising in neuroscience. Mary was assistant director of nursing in the south infirmary victoria university hospital. Mary and had many years experience in the gerontology in darraglynn nursing home

Dr. Mairéad Parker-Byrne Is A Registered Health Care Professional Who Has In Excess Of 40 Years Professional Experience And Clinical Expertise In The Provision Of Health And Nursing Care In Both The United Kingdom And Ireland. As A Trustee And Director Of Older Persons Services With Age Concern England, Mairéad Spent Several Years Working Specifically With Older People And Was Actively Involved In The Consultation Process, Development, Implementation, And Evaluation Of Many Regional And National Policies Related To National Care Standards And Social Care Services Regulations.
Since Returning To Ireland In 2004 Mairéad Has Been Actively Involved In The Construction, Development, And Management Of Nursing Homes And Alternative Living Facilities For Older People.

Retired Registered Person In Charge / Director Of Nursing
Clodagh Is A Registered Nurse Who Has Several Years Senior Management Experience Working With Older People In Both Hospital And Nursing Home Settings.
Clodagh Has Been At The Forefront Of National Clinical Research Trials Relating To Frailty In Older People And Falls Prevention. She Has Been Actively Involved In The Development Of Assistive Living And Falls Prevention Digital Technologies.
She Has Extensive Experience In Implementing Research Findings Into Daily Care Of Older People In The Community And In Nursing Homes, And Is Actively Involved In The Provision Of Training To Health Care Professionals In Nursing Home Environments.
